State of Nevada Needs a PrePress Technician

Nevada State Printing is looking for a Prepress, Composing Operator. Experience in digital print operations is a plus. Extensive experience in all phases of preparing documents for plating is a requirement. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Specific experience with Kodak Prinergy is almost a must, but we would consider experience with a similar digital workflow system.
This position is very "hands on" and includes loading and unloading aluminum plates up to 40", Some digital print loading and unloading of paper up to 12 x 18, clearing jams, and performing all user maintenance of the plating line and printers.
Must be a team player able to work under the pressure of tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Position is located in Carson City, Nevada. Union wages, Normal state benefits, including a defined benefit retirement plan, are included.
