Preps Slugline - variable text problem

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way I can swap the Month/Day/Year format to the UK version i.e. Day/Month/Year in the string command of the text variable in my Preps template?

At present I have amongst other things, $DATE in the string, but the date text is coming out in the wrong order for the UK??

Cheers.

J:)

Not 100% sure but I think if you change the date setting in the underlying OS that Preps would follow suit. Maybe not but it seems logical.

Hi Joe,

My Mac OS is already set to UK style - the date and time is in the correct format in the OS but Preps insists on putting it in the other order! M/D/Y - really confusing when its the 4th of March 2011! :)

Hi,

No, that didn't work in Preps - maybe only works in Prinergy, but it sent me on a mission to resolve this really annoying issue.

Found it!!! $LocaleJobDate - based on the current international settings at the operating system level (in the on line Preps help) - I have tried it and it works '8th March 2011'

Thanks for your input though guys - much appreciated. JD
