I have successfully installed the equivalent of Azura Thermal Plates in 4 locations using a self made target along with the built in Worm Dens target. Laser settings are extremely sensitive. With the conversion to their plate. Dot Works will actually pay for the conversion process, including resetting the laser power settings and cleaning out of the wash out unit. Laser power is often reduced by 50%! Even if your laser is running at 92% on Presstek plates, are reduced to the nearly the 50% level. Obviously saving thousands of dollars and lengthening the life of the lasers.

Total process takes 8 hours or less. The power settings stay very stable due to the highly reduced power levels. Usually power settings are in the 38 to 52%!
