Presstek to sell selected CtP assets to SLP

Presstek has announced an agreement with Southern Lithoplate, Inc. (SLP) to sell certain assets related to its CtP portfolio of wet offset thermal and violet plate products: Nytro, GemPlate, GemPlate HC, NuVio and HSUV.


Presstek plans to focus on their core product portfolio:

• DI digital offset presses,
• Anthem Elite and Dimension Thermal CTP,
• JT-Inkjet CTP,
• Zahara waterless plates,
• consumables,
• global service & support.

I just can't imagine using Presstek for CTP or plates or really anything, the company seems to always be in flux.
