Prinergy Bypass Refine thumbnails?

I'm using the Bypass Refine in some automation for preparing and imposing gang runs in Prinergy (v. 5.1.2.1.146). My bypass process template includes the thumbnail, but so far, everything I've used this with only generates a thumbnail for the first page in each input file (all PDFs).

Is this the standard behavior on a bypass refine? Is there a way to force it to generate thumbnails for every page? It's not exactly necessary for what I'm trying to accomplish, but in cases where troubleshooting is necessary I'm sure the operator would prefer thumbnails for everything.

I believe that's a bug.
If you only need thumbnails for exceptional troubleshooting cases, you could do Bypass Refine on the original file (Book.PDF), then do a second Bypass Refine on the resulting split pages (Book.p1.PDF, Book.p2.PDF, etc.) to get your thumbnails.
