Most of my Prinergy RBA experience has been trial and error, so this may be a stupid question, but I appreciate your patience and responses.
I have a rule triggered by a Job Hot Folder Drop set up to refine a dropped PDF, send a proof PDF, and send some emails. I get emails from our CSRs more often than I'd like telling me it's stopped working, and it looks like it's because they keep accidentally dropping whole folders into the RBA hotfolder instead of just their PDFs. My fix is to just delete and recreate the hotfolder.
It's possible I've misdiagnosed the problem, but I've been able to reproduce the behavior with a simpler rule; it consistently shuts down the hotfolder every time I drop a folder into it.
So is there any way to anticipate and handle this kind of behavior? Is there something I can do within the rule associated with the hotfolder that will make it robust enough to handle a folder being dropped in without just breaking the rule? Thanks for any advice.
