Print-On-Demand

Hello,

I'm quite new to the printing industry, just one and a half year. Now I work for a printing company with HP Indigo machines, and our business is mainly photobooks, photo calendars for some websites, such as Snapfish (China), Neteasy.

I'm wondering if there are any similar printing machines like Indigo printing small quantities( Print on demand)? What are they?

And is photobook printing popular in your country?

Have a nice day.

In the United States there are companies doing this on iGen's Indigo's, and NexPresses.

Companies doing photobooks include Snapfish, Shutterfly, iPhoto, Kodak Gallery, and Lulu in the US.

The majority are printing their Photobooks on Indigo for the quality, except for Kodak Gallery which uses NexPress.

Thanks. I've heard about Snapfish and Shutterfly, they are big companies, right? You know, this business in China is kinda of new, and one of the most popular is Snapfish, but many new websites came into this business now....
