Problem printing textured paper on the Ricoh 7210S.

I recently purchased a second-hand Ricoh 7210S. It prints very well on coated paper, but does not print uniformly on textured paper. I am trying to access the advanced settings when creating a paper profile, but it does not allow me to. I get a message that I do not have permission to access that feature. How can I access the function to change the fusing speed and improve printing on textured paper?
Thank you.

Use the manual (check box) setting to define the paper and textured is a check box under paper type.

My 7210 is the best textured paper printer I've owned most my others were canon printers.

I put the textured option, but the color still doesn't come out well, what could be the problem? On non-textured papers it does print well.
Thanks for the reply.

I'm about to run a solid blue business card on a textured cover 12x18 granted its a short run quantity but its been a job from back before digital days. I only pulled this to digital instead of shells on a press because the 7210 prints it so well. My canons never could get as nice a solid.

What brand stock do you use?

Both Mohawk 270gsm and Neenah classic linen 340gsm but mine are digital stocks. I don't see a digital version of "Fedrigoni paper, tintoretto gueso 250gr." sorry that may be the biggest issue.

Hey Folio! I know this may be a little late but we run two C9210's in house and it's a similar if not the same operating system as the C7210s! If you want to edit these settings click the blue Home button on the bottom of your screen, after that locate the log in button on the top right of the screen. Out of the box the username should be admin all lowercase and no password. Try logging in, if that doesn't work your service techs probably changed the default password. If it did work head back over to the paper tray settings for the stock you're using. After that you should be able to access the advanced settings!

Hope this helped!

Hi, thanks for the information. I managed to get into administrator mode and changed some options, but it still doesn't print properly. Could you help me with the options that need to be changed to print on textured paper?
