problems with D&K Superstick nylon matt

If you use it, you'll no doubt be aware of the manufacturing problems with the D&K Superstick nylon (lay flat) matt film over the past several months. I'm getting fed up with paying an extremely high price for a faulty product and then having to manage customer expectations for every darn digital book job that has matt laminate specified.

So, 2 questions if anyone would be kind enough to answer. Has anyone out there heard WHEN D&K will have their manufacturing problems under control (despite spending a lot of money with them, we have had no straight answer to this)? Secondly, does anyone know an alternate vendor for nylon lay flat film that works reliably with KM C8000 and 6501 digital printers? To be clear, the problem is ONLY with the nylon film, not the standard opp or superstick.

why not look at all-protect? they are very price competitve, and they have a huge R&D department and will be able to take your prints and send them back to you on your laminated needs.
