QM 46 roller stripes

I am trying to set the bottom form to oscillator and I cant for the life of me find the red adjustment screws. This is the form that is removed where the clean up attachment is for P:rinting Unit 1. Seems to me it is accessed with the door being open but I cant remember where it is. I would call Heidelberg but they charge now for phone based support.

its deeper than the yellow. behind a shaft. you must drop the forms onto the plate.

The yellow one on the operator side is accessed with the door being opened. Is this the same with the red one? The yellow one does the oscillator to form on top and the blue one does the middle form which is accessed through the Chain Delivery area. Started cranking on the pink one thinking it was red and it ended up being a form to plate adjustment.

yeah the color coding is great untill you cant find the screws. I have been in your exact position. I could not get mine to adjust properly. finally I broke down a just bought a set of rollers. that made all the difference. I got to all our screws from inside the side frame you just have to find an angle to get to some of them.

Rollers are less then two years old and very little impressions. Press operator was laid off and they have not been adjusted for over a year (by me). Now that I am running the press I am seeing all kinds of problems. Dry gears, roller stripes not right. Going to take some time but this machine will be as good as new soon. Just got to find the reds?

Remember the 3rd form to ocillator is set with the form on the plate (SF 02) it's also easier to see the screw with SF02 on. I can never see it without a torch, and then I remember.

reds are the worst until you see it and then it is the easiest.
