Quadient AS-850

We have been printing envelopes on a Quadient AS-850 inkjet envelope printer for 2 years. First year - no problems but the last several months have been nothing but problems. Latest issue - start the print job, prints several hundred envelopes and then starts sending blanks. Tech has been out many times - power off/on, reseat the ink cartridge and works for a couple hundred and then sends blanks through. Print Room team has no confidence in this printer now. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Have you tried using a different computer to print to it with a different USB cable? Windows updates have been playing havoc on certain print drivers, I had to turn off windows updates on the laptop that handles our inkjet.
