Registration Tolerance Front to Back

I would like to know when any of you are purchasing a Digital Printer, either color or Black & White, what tolerances would you allow for front to back registration.

We're looking into purchasing a machine but during the demostration phase before exceptance I'm curious what tolerance would be approved by you or your company.

For us black ink isn't really a huge issue, 1mm front to back or .5 per side would be fine. Its rare that something needs excellent registration on black ink and if it does we will run it on our color printer.

Color we like to have things at the worse .5mm front to back, .25 per side. 90% of our house stock we expect to be within .25 front to back. We find with digital printers that we can have 3 of our corners dead on and a 4th corner will be off by .25mm-.5mm.
