We recently installed the Ricoh C7100 and while running a 4 page duplexing job with slip sheets we encountered something quite unusual...
Settings (with problems)
Duplex on (open to left or open to top didn't change anything), pull from tray #3 specified
Pull Slip Sheet from tray #4 specified (Same weight but different drawer specified)
Machine would rotate backside of page 180 degrees regardless of what we did...and pull the slipsheet from the same drawer (#3 in this case) as the job stock.
Fix (solved both issues above)
Change Slip Sheet weight to 1 lighter on thickness
This fixed the rotation and where the slip sheet came from...
One other anomaly we noticed on the same job, print quantity 3, the rotation was fine, print quantity 27 and the rotation went haywire, Page #1 correct, Pages #2, 3 & 4 printed upside down (4-page document). Come back later and run with same settings, ran fine... wierdness...
Has anyone else experienced this type of issue? If so, is there a resolution to keep this from happening?
