just trying to get a couple of answers on a chilling unit for 3304. never used one before and was wanting info - like mixtures, cleaning, etc. any info would be great.

also on the crestline system, never used it , i have been running old conventional 3m sleeves. cleaning and mixture advice would be great. i hear that it is a great water system, please advise.

Thanks, sig

Crestlines are great especially if you are used to molliton covers. Key with the crestline is cleaning and maintenance. Need to back off pressure when done using it. Final clean up should be just water to get any press chemicals out of the rubber. Weekly cleaning using water and vinegar will help give you longevity. Never ran a chiller with a Ryobi so I cant help you there. 3302 do not have a bridge roller for the crestlines so you need to bridge the damps with a plate on the cylinder then drop all forms on the plate.

Sorry to disagree but I would go with a Kompac. I had the horrible Ryobi-matic water system and switched to a Crestline. The rollers last 6-9 months and then you have to replace them. And you will learn to love adjusting the stripes because they change constantly!

I ran a 3302 with a dahlgren on it and that wa by far the best damp system I have ever ran on the 3302. they were not very common and it was tough to find replacement rollers. I agree that crestlines typically give you a year and then they develop flat spots and have printing issues but I will not retract the fact that Crestines are a million times better then molleton.

Molletons? Eeek! Old school for sure. I remember them, but like a 1939 Packard, I can't recall when I last saw one.
