We have a part home grown/part out of the box web to print system that works pretty well for our needs. It also has a home built back-end/workflow system where we track/update orders.
The one thing completely missing is a scheduling system.
I am looking to see if there is any software out there that will schedule the jobs based on the criteria we set (size/qty/due date/finishing options/press availability etc.) and come up with a schedule for our presses.
We are not looking to move into a new web to print system. We have a lot of resources and time put into what we have and our clients like it and there is no need for us to change that.
Our back end can integrate either through web API and through an XML feed with an external system. Is there any scheduling software that we can integrate with so we don't have to develop the functionality?
