Here is the deal. I just installed a used ryobi 3302h.
When starting the press the security switch of the 2nd unit panel just under the ink keys stays on. The press refuses to inch or to run. On the scurity switches panel it´s number 7. Any idea how to fix this?
Could be something simple but I dont have a user manual to figure it out.

How much different is the 3302h from 3302m, because with 20 years experience on 3302m, I cannot make heads or tails of what you have described...?
My guess is 3302h = continuous factory dampening; m = molleton dampening

Did you try contacting Ryobi on this? You probably would have had some answer from them by now if you had started there. It can't hurt to try.

Maybe the problem is not the switch you think it is. Look for some other safety protection that prevents the press from even inching. The delivery chain area comes to mind. Are all the guards in place? is the fly wheel engaged so that you can manually turn the press? If so, disengage it.

Al, Maybe he means E-7? Or the cycle switch is set to 7 and not in the proper mode?
The E-7 code is native to a 3302HA/9995HA and means the auto plate loader has an issue.

Thanks for responding. Perhaps you are the one who can help the OP. I only had a plain 3302 with Crestlines several years back and I am too rusty to be of help here.

The other possibility is the red safety bars by the blankets. They are prone to stick out of position. Usually a good jiggle will get them back in place.
