Koenig & Bauer (US) is seeking a Field Service Technician – Press Mechanic talent to join our Sheetfed Service and Operations division providing dedicated in plant support for a key customer in Minneapolis, MN. This role has responsibility to work on a variety of tasks including::

Koenig & Bauer (US) is seeking a Field Service Technician – Press Mechanic talent to join our Sheetfed Service and Operations division providing dedicated in plant support for a key customer in Minneapolis, MN. This role has responsibility to work on a variety of tasks including::
- Travel to customer sites to install, service, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and printing issues on KBA printing presses
- Communicate with your supervisor as well as customers on a regular basis on the progress of installations and/or service repairs.
Qualifications include:
- High School Degree or GED equivalent required; post-high school degree or certification in technical field is preferred;
- Minimum of 2 year work related experience in printing, press manufacturing, industrial/plant maintenance, automotive production/service, or other related technical field;
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with OS2; programming and networking; extensive use of various proprietary software and programming tools;
- Experience working with basic hand tools; ability to read electrical schematic and mechanical CAD drawings;
- Strong organizational skills- including multitasking and time management;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers;
- Valid DL;
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including continuous (more 5.6 hours daily) standing; working with hands; exposure to dust, fumes; and equipment/machinery noise; and frequent (2.6 to 5.5 hours daily) bending/stooping, pushing, pulling, and changes to temperature and lifting/transporting tool boxes that may weigh up to 80 lbs;
- 5% travel during first 2 to 4 years; up to 100% travel across the US and Canada afterwards
