How to adjust TRC (contrast) after a nightmare color calibration off-the-glass
In “Services” Mode
Press+hold “0” for 4-5 seconds + press “Start”
Key in “6789” as the password, press “Confirm”
Press “Machine status”
Press “Tools”
Press “Maintenance” (right column, 2nd page)
Press “MAX setup”
Press “TRC adjustment”
Make necessary adjustment
(tips: keep the low density zero, increase the medium density and high density with medium density as half of the value of the high density i.e. LD : 0, MD +20, HD +40)
Once done adjusting all 4 colors,
Press “start” to run
then
Press “close”
Press “close” again
Then turn the machine off
Don’t press “exit keep/clear logs” as it won’t make any adjustment.’
Turn it back on, you should see the difference.
This TRC adjustment helps me sets the contrast back out of the off-the-glass color calibration which resulted a nightmare!
