Spot color conversion in Prinect

Can someone remind me how to change the default color table used for spot color conversion to cmyk in Prinect 3.0?

When they did the original install, Prinect was set to use Pantone EC and we'd like to change it to Pantone Solid Coated (Pantone C). If I recall, it was simply a matter of dragging the Pantone Solid Coated table to the top of the list in resources, but I must be missing something because it's not changing for newly created jobs.

Hello RGB,

I am running version 4 here, but you are correct about the method of changing the search order. Are the colors in your document using the PANTONE ___ C color names or various suffixes? It will keep looking for the color name until it finds a match in any of the active color tables (in decending order).

When resolving color naming conflicts (ie: CV, CVC) It will choose the first variant it comes across to map the other colors to. You could try making the unwanted color tables inactive by removing the checkmark in the "Active" column in the Color Table list. I think this is an option in V3.

I hope that helps.
