I'm on an Imac at home. 10.4.11 / 1.83 GHz / Intel Core Duo / 1GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
I need to load a copy of CS5 from work to get some training.
I tried using the system disk from work from the new Mac Pro we just got
and it says it can't load on my machine?
Imacs' can't go to 10.6?

any ideas?
Thanks

I believe disks that come with a machine
know that they belong to that machine.
I think you will need to purchase a commercial upgrade.

And 10.6 will run on my machine with CS5 with no problems?
Do I have enough ram and power?

Snow Leopard will install on that machine. According to Adobe's minimum system requirements it will run. But I would beef up the ram if at all possible.

The restore discs for one computer, like a Mac Pro, may not work in a different system. You'd need a retail copy of Mac OS X 10.6 as a full retail version or an upgrade.
