After a long and arduous move during the past 9-months, The Museum of Printing will open on Saturday, 9/10/2016, after completing the move of 52 tons of materials including a 2-½ ton press, over 250 drawers of metal and wood type, 7,000 books and feather light ephemera, at its new location.
Now located at 15 Thornton Ave, Haverhill, Massachusetts, The Museum of Printing traces the path of printing and the graphic arts from the beginning of movable metal type in the 13th century to the present day. They will also be conducting a future series of lectures and workshops. To celebrate this momentous event, admission will be free for all.
