Been there, done that. The ones who will string you along the worst when they owe your company money are the ones who squawk the loudest when they reorder something and you tell them they have to pay cash, no more credit.
 
On a serious note, when a small supplier lands a large account, that large account basically "owns" your business. Service and response are "top-notch" because you can't afford to lose them. When they say "jump", you jump, and, on the way up you ask "how high?"
