In illustrator the tilde comands are replaced by < commands if one has a swedish layout.
I don't know if this is a problem on other languages or on windows.
The bad news is that it doesn't work as tilde (~) in photoshop. On the swedish keyboard the ~ is a compound character on the mac on the option-umlaut ¨, but the character is dependant on the next character, so that ~ and n makes ñ. This means that the key can never be used as a shortcut in it's own right, and so the shortcuts to view channels is just a frustration as there is no shortcut to restore all channels .
