Trendsetter 800II Error 35780

[Adnan]

we are facing a problem with TS800II. during production an error popup on printconsole screen and machine stop imaging " Carriage Amplifier Fault: +/-12V or 48V supply faulted or safety loop broken Prompt:43312" and after restart of machine we got "System Presence Fault: Satellite Board 24 volt presence (Sat_&24V+) Not Detected".

we have check with replace MCE board, restore firmwares and all power supplies are works ok. Please advice.

Yes we have done reset button task and also we have checked all power supplies which are working fine not any change after reset

Are PS 2 & PS 3 on while covers closed?
Check with "system" for air supply.
Check with safety service key if problem gone ( no image possible).

today during diagnostic, engine behave crazy, sudenly relays spark and machine comes in ready mode but after few minutes it showed a message on serviceshall "f 11Jun13 18:06:17.656: <MCE> C PRD: Power supplies going off!" and engine went off again. about four or five time this symptoms was happened and machine comes online and when we restart the machine it went on error mode and after some times it come online, also i have notice that all the time when machine in error mode and we run command "Door" we found error "<MCE> [Product:Front panel is open, check front panel]". we have check the door wires and locks are seems ok.

Adrian, in your case, the Power Distribution Board (PDB) is not seen by the MCE. This is why your >>sio con 10 fails. This is usually caused by a firmware error on the PDB, bad CAN cable or bad PDB.
"[PST:No response received from Power Distribution Board]"
Your safety loop shows open because PDB controls it and it does not report the status to the MCE board.
A stuck relay that LoWang is suggesting is not related to this behavior.

Usually pressing the blue reset button works but you have to press it with the power on.
Turn power on - wait 2-3 minutes - watch the color of the PDB lights - some will be red - press the reset button shortly - the lights will flicker - you may hear the relays also clicking on/off - if this is successful, the lights will turn green if there are no other problems and doors are closed (power box panel is not monitored).

The power supplies are most probably good since the MCE boots up.

Your last post indicates the PDB eventually came up at some point - otherwise the relays would not click.
If it stays in ready status for long enough try to reload the firmware on the PDB (files should be in the creo\controlledrelease folder)

Nemo, The problem is that machine didnt give me a time to restore PDB firmware, it went restart in about few minutes and some times run bit long but we can not restore in this situation..

Disconnect all cables from PDB except power supplies and J13, J14 (CAN bus and terminator). Ignore the errors and see if the board is stable - if it is, try loading PDB firmware. If it keeps resetting with cables disconnected most likely you will need a new PDB. The part number is 10-4112L

Is the PDB stable with cables disconnected from it as I suggested earlier? If not, the board is bad.
If the board is stable you may have a problem in the wiring for the safety loop taking the board down.

Adnan, I'm afraid that your PDB is bad, need replacing one.

Hi Adnan,

I have encounter similar behavior in past. Problem could be related with power supply for security loop. Everything seems to be OK for a period of time and suddenly machine gone crazy. I found that a fan on power supply is stuck and module slowly is heating up until enter in protection mode. Check the fan for PS2. If is not working change the power supply.
