Two sided impo proofing

Our HP Designjet with Techsage spinjet has finally given out and we're looking at the new systems available. Has anyone had experience with either the duo Canon 4220s' mounted in a sleigh-like configuration or the duo Epson T7270's mounted vertically? The quote we're getting has them priced almost identically...

I have seen the Canon ImpoProof in action and it seems like a solid solution. It works best when you can queue multiple jobs/sheets at the same time as there will be some media waste (approximately 2 feet) each time a job is queued to it. I believe there is a bit more media waste with the Epson solution (but not a lot more).

Best regards,
pd

We have the IMPOProof System with dual Canon iPF8400SEs. It's has been really good. And yes it works best when you are proofing multiple jobs. If you are doing one or two at a time, you will waste quite a bit of media, around 2 feet with each set of jobs you "force" out. Canon IMPOproof Link They have good remote tech support, as their team is quite knowledgeable. The software is a little quirky, but once you get used to it, it's really not that bad.
