UK Printer required for mass marketing quote

Hi there, can anyone suggest a good supplier specialising in cheap mass marketing folded leaflets (A4 rollfold 3 panel full colour)? My usual online printer has given me a good price but they only carry 130gsm whereas my client is happy to go thinner (100gsm minimum) and doesn't mind if gloss, silk, matt or recycled type stock. If any of you guys can deliver to Dorset and want to quote me happy then he is looking for prices on 50,000, 100,000 and 250,000. Please PM me with price, delivery and turnaround. Thanks

Blimey, anyone? I can't believe that there is nobody in the UK who could cope with this order and wants the business?! This is a regular client of mine. I thought we were meant to be in a recession and people were clamouring for any work out there?!

Is there something you're not telling us?

I can't believe that your normal supplier won't quote you on that job. It's not a big deal to order a different type of paper from a paper supplier. And at those volumes changing paper weights slightly isn't a big cost difference.

Nope, nothing weird about it or that I'm 'not telling you' - I deal with an online printer who are great with 'standard' products and are well priced in certain quantity breaks but their price was not overly competitive on these higher quantities, they don't offer thinner stock as standard and knowing them are unlikely to be bothered with taking the time to source/quote for it on what they may see as a tenuous order. I get the impression they run on a skeleton staff however I have always been very happy with turnarounds/quality etc as have my clients. Their prices are low for these very reasons and due to the more impersonal nature of their business model they do not handle bespoke quotes/answer emails/phone quickly etc etc hence I was looking to outsource the business elsewhere to someone to deals with large run jobs like this frequently. I have now found a very helpful company locally who deal with this sort of thing (recommended by my large format colleague) and they have given me a great price on a variety of stocks and obviously wanted the work so it will be going to them in the next week.
