Web-to-print Providers SWOT ANALYSIS

Hi everybody Chris is my name form Ez print. One of my main reasons for joining this great forum is to try find out more about web-to-print technologies. I've been doing research for a few days now and although company websites are a good source for initial research, I would really like to find out the Strengths and paticularly the Weaknesses or pitt falls of all of the major (and minor) Web-to-print solution providers.

It would be great if people could start posting their experiences here. I've heard alot of the "good things" the major players can do, so if theres areas where soem of them fall down I'd love to know before we get too deep!

Thanks awfully

Chris

Hi Chris,

Web-to-Print solutions for Variable Data Printing document production has a distinct advantage over our competitors in costs. We aare signficantly cheaper than any of our rivals in both set up costs and monthly costs.
When we get new customers we keep them whilst we are building a stronger base of customers that were previously using competitor software. They are always suprised at how much money they were paying for something we offer at such a lower cost!

New website coming soon

There are certainly a number of strengths and weaknesses to all Web-to-print solutions on the market today.

You may want to check out the new Ultimate Guide Online website. This provides a "consumer reports" style analysis of 27 leading W2P solutions. While the site does not have a SWOT for each solution, it does have a long list of third-party InfoTrends ratings on over 100 unique evaluation metrics.

Best of all... it's free to register and access the site.
