Xaar has launched a highly advanced, simple to install printhead featuring ‘plug and print’ functionality—end users can replace printheads themselves. The Xaar-2002 is fully backwards compatible with printers using the Xaar-2001+.
With Xaar-2002’s new drop-in printhead alignment feature, printhead replacement at customer sites is much quicker. The is printhead is ready to use straight-out-of-the-box, service time is short and machine uptime is maximized. The 2002 printhead delivers high-quality 720 dpi print resolution across a range of applications & substrates, including ceramics, glass, packaging and labels.
Xaar’s unique TF Technology allows a broader range of ink or other fluids to flow directly past the back of the nozzle at high flow rates, preventing the nozzle from drying out. This increases the printhead’s nozzle open time, ensuring the printhead is continuously primed for trouble free start-up, even after periods of non-use.
