So I was printing some covers the other day and didn't have much going on so I took out the trusty stopwatch. Cover was 12x18 4/4 on 80# gloss cover. Machine is rated at I believe 22 or 23 ppm for that size. I was getting 26 ppm for that which translates into it being a 104 ppm machine and not 100ppm. Now this isn't a big deal to me, but someone who has 4 machines running 24/7, that would translate into some serious profit gains by increased productivity. Just wondering if anyone else has an experience like this? Or if maybe Xerox includes the "adjusting image quality" pauses into the mix to create an average?
