We Have had a DP60 for nearly 3 years now and have not really had any major hassles with it. Obviously it has its set of problems like any other "digital" press. Support here in Africa is a big joke and at present it seems we know more about the machine that the agents here. It is basically a KM C6500 in another shell. By now we have almost all the service manuals etc for the machine and basically do all the servicing ourselves - after all it is not rocket science - and being in Africa, that is how it is done otherwise you wait forever, hearing all sorts of foul excuses ha ha. Anyway, I can only recommend it.

(Copied from the copytechnet.com forum. I am not a tech, I just Googled this.)

        For J-3102

Please check harness connected to the PRCB corresponding to the sensor

Either you remove and connect again or replace PRCB

          Straight To The Bottom Line

InfoTrends reported that interviews with more than 100 print customers demonstrated an appetite and willingness to pay premiums of 24% to 89% for special effects, over CMYK-only printing. They also indicated embellishment could apply to a significant portion of their work. Embellishment options can include hot foil stamping, spot gloss UV, embossing, debossing, letterpress, diecut shapes, lamination, duplex, triplex, gold foil, silver foil, copper foil, white foil, black foil, clear foil, etching, and laser cutting techniques.
