Purchasing Ricoh RRO 907EX - Have Questions . . .

Am getting ready to purchase a Ricoh PRO 907EX black and white production copier.

Have been very impressed with the equipment and the company representatives.

The equipment apprears to be just what I need.

While the pricing offered appears to be reasonable, I have absolutely no way to know if I am getting a good deal or not. I was not offered a price sheet - just giving a price quote for the equipment discussed.

I have searched the interent trying to find MSRP and street pricing for the base unit plus the options I need but all I can find is the $40,000 MSRP price included in the original press release for the product without a breakdown of what options are included.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a fair street price guide?

There are many options, please tell me what options are on the quote and I can give you the MSRP. Wish you were buying one from me! LOL

Or you could email ([email protected]) me the quote and I'll give you an outsiders opinion. Here's my blog to checkme out print4pay Hotel's "MFP Solutions Blog"

Thanks! Will be meeting with reps on Wednesday. Told them to bring their price list and be prepared to show me option pricing MSRP and what discount I will get. Should be an interesting meeting. Will contact you after. Thanks for being willing to help!

np, tell them also you want blank (lease, sales and maintenance) contracts to read n review, there's a lot of fine print, it's not just Ricoh, but you should know what the fine print states before signing.

... and then take a black marker and start removing all the outrageous nonsense from the contract. The contract I signed a couple of weeks ago only had about half of the original text left by the time we'd finished amending it. Interestingly, when the rep handing us the contract he said straight away that he did not expect us to sign it as it was.

Thanks guys! Should be an interesting meeting tomorrow. Thanks for the head's up on modifying the contract! Hadn't considered that!
