Bulk Mail Strapping Machine

We have a good strapping machine for the OUTER MAILING BINS AND TRAYS.. but we now need a smaller strapping machine to bundle the postcards or magazines within the mailing trays. Is there a smaller bundling or strapping machine anyone can recommend? Thanks

We haven't tested it for durability of mail trays, but we switched from rubber-banding bundles of postcards to using paper banding with this machine. It's fast, and quite strong. We have customers who want postcards bundled in 100 or 250 counts. You can get white or brown/kraft paper...but there is also a clear film which I believe would be more durable for your purposes.

can no longer use rubber bands in a lot of classes of mail now.
Do you know if there's a bulletin about that? We've been using rubber bands without any issue, but I don't want to get dinged on our mailer scorecard if that's the case.

EDIT: I found it. Looks like it only applies to flats, and 99% of our mail is letter. Still good to know!

We use the same plastic strap machine for bundles and trays. Mosca

That Duplo-240 seems like the same china style machine I saw elsewhere once. I can’t find it anywhere. If anyone does link it here please.

I told my SCF clerk to piss off when they threatened to ding my scorecard. As much as they f%ck up they don't need to worry about my scorecard. Every time we pick up mail trays we have to check for mail they forgot to remove. I can't tell you how many bills, statements and college letters we have had to return to the post office. Not to mention how many lost mailers we have had to deal with.

We're really fortunate to not have too many issues locally. Our scorecard is almost perfect, so they let us drop bulk mail without anyone present. It makes drop off so much easier when I don't have to ring the bell and wait 15 minutes for someone to finally answer the door.
