Hi,
suddenly, my xerox c60 is printing this kind of missing black... any clue?

try running a media calibration. what do the curves look like?

I don't remember if the C70 had HSFI counters, what is the life look like on your developer/dev housing?

Ive seen densities drop off after a long/hard day of printing on our Versants (the C70 is just an early predecessor to the Versant line), especially if the room is too hot or humidity too low. Otherwise I'd say its ready for a dev change

I can only check on monday at work, seems like some of wheels maybe broken can't turn the dev... or corona kinda fail...

Update:
I've checked the gears, the dev and corona, all seems fine, could be the black toner not reaching the container?

Update: Problem solved, it was the black K toner chip fault, somehow didn't warn that the cartridge itself was empty...weird. Result, no black toner to fill.
Solved obviously with a new full black (k) cartridge with other new chip.

I have to say... that is a new one LOL are you using non-Xerox/aftermarket chips on your cartridges??

We tried using drum chips on our Oki C931 to extend their life, wound up causing more issues that it was worth
