    Thanks very much Craig. We added a Ricoh 9210 about 9 months ago, love it. I didn't realize how bad the Xerox 1000i quality was until I saw the Ricoh here in our shop. Going to add a 9500 shortly. We put 3 million impressions (12 x 18) on the 9210 so far without a hiccup.

    It is very sad what happened to Xerox. We have been customers since the early 90's starting off with a Docutech. I still have my ColorPress 1000i which I will be happily getting rid of end of year.

    We had the press installed in March and it happened a month or two after that. It was with one stock, 60# offset, mixed color and black and white pages. We have not had any problems since they put the updated with the patch.

    Are you running your press with Fiery? We had this same issue with a large book that had many color and black and white pages thru out. Xerox needed to update the Fiery with a patch to correct this problem. No problem anymore.
