Love the lamb chop sideburns. Has anyone ever said that you remind them of John Lennon in this video?

Best Blankets for the UV "low energy" inks H-UV or LED UV

Might be a late response but blankets have come a long way in the realm of H-UV / LED. Once upon a time, Prisco Ebony (made by Contitech) was the staple in the USA. May shops have gotten away from it due to price but it's still a solid piece of rubber.

Are there any process free plates that work well? Pleaae help if you know of a brand.

You have the option of starting in segregated mode for the initial plate roll-up. Once ready, you can switch back using the console buttons. Important to note that you will likely see elevated water speeds in segregated mode, which can lead to print issues later on (Drying, etc.) Heidelberg...

    Screen Equios - Plate Curves

I was wondering if anyone might have a cheat sheet for Screen's Equious workflow. I haven't found any information online and continue to hit roadblocks. Specifically, I'm looking for a little bit of assistance in navigating through the workflow and applying press curves. I've contacted Screen...

What kind of coatings are you applying? Waterbased or UV? Typically a 9BCM is for a standard waterbased Gloss/Satin/Matte. For UV Coating you typically want a 12. Contact Harper Corporation | 1-800-438-3111 It might not geographically desirable but you can always try Harper.

    many inks are plastic

I have noticed your older posts promoting Bestchem and Habitat inks. I am responding to seek clarification on whether your intent is to provide educational content or to promote specific brands within this forum. Regarding the technical specifications mentioned, are you aware that PTFE and PFAS...

Maybe you should use a Pantone Color instead of trying to build it out of ridiculously high four color densities? That will allow you to run a "Realistic" ink film instead of what your results are producing - unless you only a have 4/c press. Even then, two passes through the press and call it a...

Sir, you have indirectly solved your own issue. ISO-12647-2 (Which is incorporated in whatever G7 calibration program you use) specifically names L*a*b* values for all four colors and traps. Any reputable ink company will formulate ink to these standards for color strength and transparency. In...

    First off, those coated densities are considerably higher than normal that you run. Perhaps a different filter setting? K - 1.70 - 1.75 C - 1.35 - 1.40 M - 1.40 - 1.45 Y - 1.00 - 1.05 It’s been years since calibrating strictly to TVI. Here in the U.S., most commercial printing and or packaging...

Are you measuring these numbers on a printed sheet? or are these numbers coming off a plate? See inquiry posted above that you never responded to. 👆🏻👆🏻

They should be hung on press and ran as though they were already developed. A lot of operators have a tendency of letting them idle with water form to the plate for a minute and then dropping inkers. That never works.

Are there any process free plates that work well? Pleaae help if you know of a brand.

Without knowing your pressroom or the environment, let me apologize in advance. After the plates are imaged, are they being exposed to any sort of light (skylight or even your overheads) for any duration of time? Or are the plates being made, then brought out to the pressroom face town? Ideally...

Heidelberg USA? Heidelberg Europe (I saw you're not in N. America)? Heidelberg MX? That information may be accurate in your market but may vary in others.
