    Apple M1computer

They make three processors in the M1 family, M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max. I believe that the M1 Pro and M1 Max are only available in the new Mac Book Pro. I'm holding out for a 27" iMac with the m1 Max chip (10-core CPU & 32-Core GPU), I heard summer of 2022. That is going to be a good day!

    Simple Tiff Catcher/Shooter

Does anybody know of a simple tiff catcher/shooter the can send tiffs to a dart Luxel T6000 (screen 4300). We have Esko Imaging Engine that creates the 1 Bit tiff, I just need to send the tiffs to the platesetter. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Esko WebCenter alternative?

About a year or so ago they rolled out "Share and Approve" which is a very slimmed down version of WebCenter. We looked into it but there was very little customization (you had to use their ugly green temple for your customer-facing email) and a lot of the automation steps were also taken away...

    USPS "Informed Delivery" - Discussion

Try taking your letter and $.49 to FedEx and see how far you get. I think USPS does a fantastic job considering the price.

We have a line on a used Kodak Magnus 400 that we are considering purchasing. A few competing vendors have warned us that Kodak is discontinuing that line and will no longer service or provide parts for these platesetters. Can anybody out there verify that: 1. Kodak will no longer...

    ISO Form

Sorry if this is not the correct location for this question. We are in the process of becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified. I am wondering if any ISO certified shops would be willing to share their "Form 7.3.4 Verification of Purchased Product" form with me. Thank you in advance, Bob

    Managing and EFI DSF

@duncndonut We are currently shopping DSF. Looks like you have had it for about a year or more. Do you have any follow-up thoughts? Do you send any data (jdf/xml etc) to an MIS or workflow from DSF? If so, how has that worked for you? Thanks for your time and feedback!!

We have been experiencing an increasing amount of image stretch on job coming off our QMDI in the last two weeks. I have ruled out any file issues so I believe it is happening at the RIP or the press. Any ideas what could cause this type of issue. I immediately thought roller pressure could...
