    License Infringement Letter

I believe the lack of patent enforcement leads to a loss of patent rights. This period varies by country, but after 5-8 years, if patent goes unenforced against "infringers", the "patentee" cannot bring suit for infringement. Also, there is patent terms, that I recall is also varies from 14 to...

Your recommendation on Management Informaiton Systems (MIS)

I'm trying to bring under control the document management, scanning and backup business. Just quit the printing business and want to keep the activity-based costing model.

Your recommendation on Management Informaiton Systems (MIS)

Is there any MIS that isn't only for printing workflow? So far was able to find one at www.netsuite.com and the pricing posted at www.crmexposed.com/compare-netsuite-products-pricing.php

    Smartstream guidance appreciated...

There are many ways to work around but if this is a long run, then one might take much more time to process than another. Some cannot be optimized or be used as a template output or are good during the soft proofing stage and then failed to print. Using the layers is the one that takes time.

    Smartstream guidance appreciated...

Did you try to use 'Purge' features? Double click on the particular channel in the 'Channels' tab of Smartstream window... Pretty much check them all on.

    Smartstream guidance appreciated...

It seems to me the output should look like <thank you rule 1> £<credit limit csv header>. <rule> seems like is working <credit limit csv header> - should be entered by clicking on respective field in the Smartstream's Data Fields window. The problem may exist anywhere here (it still hard to...

    Spray powder problems when laminating

Hi John, Have you tried to run printed sheet through the "dry" press once job is ready to ship? Dry blankets are really good on removing the spray powder and "crushing" some of it into the ink. Off course, depends on the amount of spray powder, blankets need to be washed and dried. We do it all...

    Prioritizing work flow in Prinergy

You can build an RBA rule for certain process or group of processes that you can initiate manually. In the rule you will be able to choose the priority level you want. In the RBA rule you will have to set 'Manual Trigger' as initial event and then build the chain of the processes you want to run...

Illustrator & Photoshop colors don’t match

As I remember, HP Indigo does have its own PMS recipe library and you may enter the custom spot colours in its front end. If you have sent the file that has known spot colours in it and if it's requested to be printed cmyk, Indigo's RIP will match it to book colour "as close as possible" or...

    Color Management Policies?

I guess you are asking about color management within the InDesign, not the settings for exporting the document. You can check "Ask me" option on and every time you open a file you will be offered settings to choose from. Then try whatever option you are going to use within your workflow and see...
