Try this simple remedy, Drain out the font solution. Take some synthetic vinegar (non fruit vinegar) in a cloth and give your chrome roller a good old fashioned rub. The run the press like normal !!

There was a black solid strip running across the sheet where the problem was most acute. Try a fast and hard drying ink instead of one that skins quickly but remains wet inside for longer.

I had the same problem with black ink. Sicpa have a good black ink that eliminates the problem totally.
