    Purchasing SM-52-2

We are in the market for a pre-owned SM-52-2 and would appreciate any feedback that would assist us in making a more intelligent purchase. What "things" should we be looking at? Are there any known "quirks" about SM52's that came out in 1999?........Can we still get good quality and production...

Changing bearings on water form roller

I need to change the bearings on a water form roller (unit 1) of a QM-46-2. Any suggestions on how I can take this roller apart?.........A new roller costs in the area of 800.00 and of course I would rather find a more economical way to salvage my roller.

    Polyester Plates

Re: Polyester Plates I wish there was a way to filter vendors from putting in their "2 cents"..... Isn't this forum supposed to be about printers and NOT vendors?. For example , in this thread,....Heidelberg has to step in and give their "2-cents, more like 1-cent"......Lets be real! Do you...

    PlateStream 46 Color+

We are looking for a new CTP system for our soon to have SM52-2....... chem-free metal is not within our budget. Heidelberg GTP 52-4P

Re: Heidelberg GTP 52-4P I found it very helpful to post my concerns......after some consideration I decided that the GTO 52-4 was not for me (at any price).......I have decided to narrow my choice to either the SM52-2 or the Komori Lithrone....leaning more towards the Komori.
