Yes. That is how we are setup and all computers are synchronized. We're guessing a corrupted InDesign preference and plan on deleting and rebuilding. Operator just has several jobs to finish first.

Out of several computers one does not asked about Profile Policy when opening an InDesign file. I've looked and not found any setting that would turn the Profile Policy options ON/OFF. Under Edit / Color Settings all settings are the same on all computers. Any help would be appreciated! Linda

I believe you are correct. I created a PDF with the area duped. One Spot. One Process. Then used PitStop to convert to All Spots to Process. They look the same. Moving on . . .

I had time to try this again today. Everything looks ok until I turn on Separations Preview. The colors do not match. Tried setting up another Spot color named differently (just to make sure the color had not been previously defined in the library). Visually the colors from Spot to Process still...

Went to a different computer, spot converted fine. Went back to my computer, weirdly conversion now works fine. We had to turn just this one area to process. The "Special Orange" was printing as a spot elsewhere. I'll post if I can figure out why one time is doesn't work, and one time it does.

Don't want Illustrator trapping. Either InDesign or a PDF trapper.

This says it is a Raster Trap, but what we need is a Vector Trap. Is that true?

We finally figured this out. The original art has the strokes Black with Opacity at 90%. When changed strokes to White 100%. But even though everything said 100% Opacity, it was holding on to the 90% Opacity. When we change the original stroke to Black 100%, THEN changed to White, it worked!

I have a white line on top of a black background that is showing 5% Black. The white line has no Transparency, no Opacity. I even put in on a new layer. Even though it reads 100% white, it is coming out about 5% black. If I copy and paste it in place about 3 or 4 times, it will then appear...
