    Have you identified what material is causing the hickey? You can use scotch tape and remove the hickey from the plate of blanket and have it examinded. Could be paper fiber, ink pigment, ink skin, dust, etc... Finding out where the hickey is coming from will help in solving the problem.

    No-Tox inks custom proof profile and plate curves

    My experience with No-Tox inks is that they are very weak. You will have to run a very heavy ink film to acheive proper desity. I do not think these inks comply with ISO-2846-1 for shade. I would suggest making linear plates and do your best to match on press with adjusting density.

    Send the sample you want to match and the stock you are printing on to your ink supplier. They will create a custom match and will be able to teill you if opaque white is needed in color match or to be applied first.
