sheets not forwarding on manroland 300

Feeder Issue Feeder Issue Hello, I am manroland. The first thing to check is if the output for the vaccuum is turning on. If it is not turning on then the computer is not releasing the output. Typically in this situation the sensors for the pile centering control are not seeing the load or...

    Humidity Question

Your feeding problem does sound like static. We tell our customers that they need to maintain a pressroom humidity level of 50-55%. This is also the spec stated by PIA/GATF. Stock coated on both sides is more likely to be effected by static in a low humidity enviroment. Do you have any anti...

    Inline densitometry

Hi Cornishpastythighs, I think we are both using English but yours is the Queens and mine is American. Inline densitometry

Actually there are fundamental differences in the two systems. The Heidi system uses moving scanning heads in the unit to read the sheets. The manroland system uses cameras (no moving parts). All systems watch the trend over many sheets.

    Inline densitometry

You should check out manroland's Inline Color Pilot. This system is faster and more accurate than any other on the market so far. The system is developed by Grapho Metronic who have been in the density measurement business for over 30 years. This system takes three sheets to set the color. I...

What is wrong with Roland R300?

With regards to the electrical concerns with the R300.... The only part of the press that is of concern is the CPL system for hanging plates. The press you reference has the Weko control system for CPL. Otherwise the press runs exactly the same electrical package as the R700. The R300 runs the...

    initial impression count

Of course the manufacturer is important. Some presses are assembled and run at the factory prior to installation at the end customer. Some are not prerun.
