Canon IX finishing anomaly

Hi, I have Canon Prisma 3200ix, and recently ran some 100 gloss cover nantucket, 12x18, 4 up, full coverage postacards. Im wondering if anyone has some input or knowledge about my issue.
Printed about 10,000 sheets , stacked about 2500 sheets high. The bindery brought me a stack and it felt like a brick. I was expecting the ink to transfer or crack pulling sheets apart when attempting to air out the stack. I cannot think of anything that would do this to the paper. I feels like it got wet then dried under the weight. But I should be having some quality issues and we went through a few lists. No transfer. I thought possibly the color grip may have not dried completely or steamer unit isnt functioning properly. However Ive run more, on similar gloss cover and there is no more issue. Really confused. I relayed same info to our local technician for now to monitor, but thought maybe someone on here would have some experience with this?

Canon has a website dedicated to their Inkjet line with forums. You might have better luck there since not many people are running the iX.

Also, unrelated, but your company website is really nice. Props to whoever made it.

I am part of the Thinkforum...its helpful giving color concept training and video training to new employees. The technician ended up adjusting the humidity after the fixation unit, stopped curling to lighter uncoated paper. hopefully will keep coated cover problem from happening ;-) Thanks!
