What's the difference between SWOP2013 and GRACoL2013. When exporting PDF from InDesign the SWOP2013 seems to create GRACoL type separations, but the GRACoL2013 seems to not change SWOP files. Even though I've set it to use the Destination Profile which is GRACol2013.

It's starting to make sense. After years of telling our customer to supply CMYK images, it seems that now the better workflow is RGB and let Prinergy do the conversion. Even letting InDesign convert to GRACoL seems better with RGB.

What do you have your Adobe workspace set to? Or does it matter?

What we're trying to end up with is consistent GRACoL separations from Final PDF (before it is Refined). Then after Refining, it looks the same. The idea is to show customers how their separations look before printing. Any advice is appreciated.

Attached is the InDesign color settings. Is this what you need? I'll change the Destination Profile. We want PDFs that show the GRACol separations and I thought this would be a good idea.

Is G7 just a plate curve (with dot gain figured in)? If we had an older curve that was great for us, could we use it as long as it passed the G7 tests? Thanks, Linda

Logs look ok. No error messages. We've rebooted more than once. It's almost as if that part of the software disappeared. It shows older RBAs, just won't let me build new ones.
