Help! Cleaning substrates with alcohol or acetone?

The only way I've found to lose the smears is to literally cake on the iso. like spray it on thick...even pour it on. And wipe with lint free clothes only. Although lately I've been cleaning my boards with Rapid Tac and paper towel and its been doing a really nice job. No problems yet! Also...

    Customer stealing eProof files

I don't know what keeps happening to my comments but they keep disappearing. So I'm sorry if this shows up twice. Can anyone explain why you convert to RGB before proofing? I always rasterize a proof but I've never bothered with converting to RGB first. Is it just for online viewability?

I've always proofed with raster but I'm curious to know why you all convert to RGB first? Just for online viewability?

banding in latex vs UV inkjet

I'd like to add though, that the Acuity will always have "gloss banding". (Sorry I don't know crap about latex printers lol) And also, the lamp settings and media profiles play a big part in avoiding banding on the Acuity/OCE.

    OCE Arizone Textile printing

Hello print world, I'm desperate for some help with my flatbed printer. I'm trying to print to a table cloth (which is essentially like a bedsheet). The table vacuum won't all for enough suction so I'm using the spoiler board but it, too, doesn't suction enough and then the heads end up...

    Pantone Book Printing Consistency

Does anyone have a link to watch how Pantone books are printed? There was a thread from 2008 on here that had the link but it no longer works and I'd really like to watch how they do it and ensure such accurate consistency over all these years...

    Problem with corrugated boxes

Humidity will definitely help, if not completely solve your problem. Alternatives are to leave it in the skid, zip tied until you need it or placing something heavy on top.

help neede on how to design a huge wallpaper for a room wall ( 6 x 4 Meters )

Flatten and rasterize the image. That should reduce the file significantly. Also, save as a post script, then import into distiller. Distiller will auto-generate a new, smaller PDF for you.

    Help me explain pdf problem

I always flatten transparencies when saving the printready file. Either that or select all and rasterize at 100% scale.

    Roland Large Format Banding

This could be a number of different things. 1. Are you using the take-up reel? 2. Are your media profiles correct? 3. Are your heater settings correct? 4. Are your heads clean?
