    Best B&W in price range

As I said we chose not to go with the Oce' for a variety of reasons but one of the most compelling things about the oce 60 series other than the simultaneous duplexing was that every tray in the machine can be set to function a pre or post fuser inserter. It makes a great cost argument. The two...

Its a new year, and a whole bunch of new problems

Any non house stock is billed with the job. If I have to order 1000 A-10's the customer is billed for them. We try to give them a very good price on that additional qty but if they don' t take we hold on to it for about 6 months and then recycle/donate.

    Best B&W in price range

The IR110's are the built by Kodak. They are the Kodak Digimasters. I think you can get one new in your price range and with awesome quality. We are much smaller than you doing 400k Min Monthly Volume and 1mil on the high end. The Digimaster was to much machine for us and we put in 2 xerox...

Short Run Sratch off Foil Stamping

I am looking for the best way to do foil stamping in sizes of 4X6 and smaller. I am looking for something pretty easy to setup, to get away from doing this on a platen press. Our primary application is scratch off and speed above 5m per hour would be preferable. Can some one point me in the...

What questions to ask before purchasing from ANY Vendor

What is the purchase price? A lot of companies want to give you the lease price only. They will also hide behind things like government pricing to avoid giving an buyout price (I'm looking at you Oce')

    Folding digital printing

We have KM 6500 and use a Morgana creaser the prevent craking. We also use it in place of the pizza wheel scoring system on our sulby 7. It's also great for adding a hinge on covers. We don't have DI so I can't speak to that but I can say the crease has made us a better shop.

    clc 5000 problems

David, I wish I could give you some glimmer of hope. Unfortunately at my last job we got the CLC 1000. We then after being promised the stars and moon moved to a 5000. I can tell you that we had it in 1999 when Hurricane Floyd hit. I would say that we got it at the end of 98 beginning of 99...

Small Printer CTP System vs. CTF

Have you considered a CTP poly system. A system like the AbDick 2404 would allow you to plate 14x20 for you GTO's and use a second cassette for you Hamada. If you're really set on film it can also print the film though, I would then look at the smaller 2340. You're getting a max res of 2540 175...
