That's always seemed like the weirdest and most obvious glitch to me. Every computerized list in the world is sorted in a way that makes sense... It's not even sorted by date added or anything - when you reboot it seems to be a completely random order. I would think a Fiery software programmer...

I'd still be nervous. With some of the stories out there about the online "trade printers" that have made sales calls to printer's customers, I tend to try to keep my customer info in-house. There's enough competition out there already - don't need to make it easier for them.

We're digital only - We have a CP Bourg stitcher with the collated sheet feeder. Great machine. It also has a scoring unit, and trims 3 sides. We've had it for about 4 years now & the feeder has been great. Very little makeready or waste.

Did they also try replacing the shaft that drives the drum? We've had banding before that's been fixed by replacing the drive shaft.

Those sound like the server version prices. We got the basic XMPie desktop version a while ago and it was in the $5K ballpark. Fusion Pro desktop goes for less than $1K (but IMHO, you get what you pay for - Never been a big fan of FusionPro)

Not really sure how that was supposed to stop the pirated versions anyways. A quick search still turns up torrents of the current version. As long as the anti-piracy solution is software based, then somebody will come up with other software to get around it.

We use Quite Imposing Plus for everything (and it's a fraction of the price of the Fiery impose). http://www.quite.com/imposing/ The Fiery impose module came with our Xerox machines, but we never use it because it's so clunky.
