    Do you find greater success outside the 3.9-5.0 window? Your measurement is only as good as the calibration of your ph tester. I find some meters lose calibration quicker than others, the press guys are not great at taking care of the device either

    The magentic valve could be the issue, the lithrone was either the valve or the bolt would break on the mecahnical linkage on the operator side. LS, take the catwalk step off between the units and fire the valves manually

    Zero Zero You will have to set what micron works best for your shop. Start at 10 M, if your using the block guage the guys will get different readings.

    Zero set Zero set We use the Erichsen Model 234/R1. 0-25 microns for zero setting. Cost about $ 800 us I ask the crews to zero at least 1 fountain per week. The rolling average keeps the preset close.

    I/R Temp Control...

    IR IR Output % will equal IR wave length. We like 30 % --70% for a short wave length. Some auto modes can be problematic with dirty sensors and sensors being out of calibration. Good operators should be in tune with this. Track your bulb burn hours if possible.
