Hello. In Avantra 44 I have error message 149 Spinner did not lock. Encoder and sensor is clean. It turns smoothly so I suspect problem with it's electronics. Is there any company preferably in EU able to repair spinner electronics? Thanks, Chris

Buying mac now days is just waste of money considering PC you can get with the same money amount. PC would be faster/more memory/more disc space and so on. You can even install macos on PC if you like. MAC is nothing like PC with macos installed.

Make a test. Expose 50% tint @175DPI. Measure it. Note the value. Take a rag soaked with developer and rub the plate a few times with middle strength. Measure it. Tell me what density was before/after rubbing. Chris

Issue can be: 1. Wrong focus. 2. Not enough exposure power. 3. Wrong pre-heat temperature. Chris

We do, but it is not enough for some type of plates.

Because after every chemistry change and processor cleaning you have to create curves again. Way I explained you linearise plates leaving press curves untouched. Pretty simple and not time consuming. Way you suggested after processor cleaning you need to create curves for every printing machine...

Gordo violet process is highly unstable, so I always recommend to linenarize plates first than review all workflow.

Hello. I need help with machine as in topic. Second hand, not used for some time. History unknown. The issue: Image start in speedscan direction is 16cm from plate edge. In service menu I can adjust that +/- 2cm. I suspect, that spinner was replaced for unknown reason. No way to rotate spinner...
