Seasonal for us - It's usually only in the fall and spring for us when humidity starts changing, and only for certain stocks. Some stocks keep running fine with no adjustment.

And you've tried adjusting the 2nd Bias Transfer Roll setting on the paper? On certain stocks, especially this time of year when the humidity starts dropping for us, we have to start playing with that.

That's not our experience with our 1000's. They slow to a crawl if we try to run mixed stocks - There's still a fuser temp adjust between stocks.

When I worked in an Indigo shop, I was just told the file needed to be RGB. The RIP wouldn't take advantage of the indichrome if it was CMYK.

I just looked again in the barcode software, and scrolled a little further through the types, and there actually is a "UPC-A National Drug Code" variant and it does add the "N". That's the type you want.

I don't think the "N" is actually part of the barcode. I just made a UPC-A for "370408746313" and as far as I can see it's the same exact barcode as pictured above.

There's your problem - It shouldn't be using the "Generic Postscript Driver" at all. Something is configured incorrectly if it's not using the proper HP driver. That's the problem you need to fix.
